Re: How was your weekend?
I had a good weekend as DH was finally off! The outage is supposed to get over Thursday now but we?ll see.
Friday we did date night with dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and then looked at Christmas lights.
Saturday we got some things done around the house and that evening went out to eat with IL?s and SIL?s FILs to celebrate SIL?s college graduation. Glad that is over as I?m not a big fan of that SIL.
Sunday Lee Strobel spoke at our church which was really interesting. We were supposed to go out for a friend?s birthday but they had a bachelor/bachelorette party the night before so they had unexpected guests. The rest of the day we watched a movie and just relaxed which was nice. I got a lot of sleep this weekend.
Suh didn?t win the Heisman and I think it?s crap he got 4th. He should have been at least 3rd.

Friday was my lazy night, I was in bed by 9:30, haha.
Saturday we baked and partially assembled our Christmas packages, now I just need to get boxes & mail them out. Then we went to my company Christmas party. It was fun. After that, we went to one of the owners' sons house and the guys played poker and the girls sat in the kitchen and talked. I'm surprised DH wasn't hungover, he drank a ton of beer LOL.
Yesterday DH was off for the day, so we finished our packages, cleaned the house and watched the Trading Spouses marathon haha.
We got a couple inches on snow this weekend too, it's so pretty

Stuck in counting limbo.
SAIF always welcome!!

I have been horribly sick for about a week now. I think I am going to break down and go to the doctor this afternoon.
I still went to the Colt's game (of course!). It was awesome, except I left with a huge headache and went right back the couch when I got home.
Boring... got our Christmas shopping done, though!
The Dolphins won yesterday, so that was nice. I did pretty well in the two pools, too.
I relaxed the whole weekend. It was nice! The Steelers played last Thursday and lost. The Patriots won and so did the Saints and Colts. I watched a lot of football yesterday. It is playoffs for fantasy football and we did not do so well yesterday.
On Friday, we went to a friend's house for dinner. It was nice. Almost the whole crew was together.
On Saturday, DH and I went grocery shopping in the morning and to a friend's graduation in the afternoon. It was raining really bad, so we just stayed in that night.
On Sunday, I did some cleaning around the house, went do some shopping, then came home and spent the rest of the afternoon being lazy.
How I spent my weekend:
Friday-at the mall and other stores
Sat. & Sun.-in the kitchen making chocolate and cookies
I'll be doing the same this weekend, but hopefully will get out and see some gorgeous lights.
Very full!
Saturday we had a Christmas dinner party with friends, and watched Mark Ingram win the Heisman, which was great! (Sarah: I think Suh should have been second, and if I wasn't a Bama fan, I'd say first--the quarterbacks just weren't that amazing, and/or only play crap teams)
Sunday I went to Atlanta to visit a friend, and saw Invictus (great!) but came home sick. :-(
**Amelia, I hope everything is okay! Your message made it seem like you weren't on bed rest anymore which would be good news!**
This is sad, but I can't really remember what I did on Friday. I worked and then I think DH and I watched a movie.
Saturday, I had to be an elf at work which actually turned out to be fun. Then, some friends came over; we had dinner and played a board game which was lots of fun!
Sunday, I spent a lot of time in the kitchen preparing a gift and making dessert for our company's Christmas party. There was a lot of family stuff going down that day that I was away from but still a part of...hard to explain without telling about it all. So, even though I didn't do a lot, it felt like a long, busy day of phone calls, frustration, nervousness and then relief.
I'm fine now. The doctors can't really figure out what's wrong with me, but since I'm not in active labor they let me go back to work. I just have to take it easy when possible and promise to call if anything changes. Thanks for asking, though!
