Re: confessions?

  • I confess my cats are driving me crazy lately. They are into?everything, running everywhere, crazy. What happened to the lazy cats I had? Go to sleep and calm the eff down! The tree is not a climbing post, my nightstand is not some sort of perch, and the presents are not toys for you.?

I didn't get the job, which I wasn't really expecting that I would. I was expecting, however, to make it through to the second round of interviews so I am pretty upset about that. I keep picking the popular jobs, I guess. Also, as a side note, the woman who interviewed called my HR rep and told her that I seemed sad compared to last time (I've interviewed with her before) and was everything alright. Which sort of threw me, because when I went we were joking and laughing about stuff, and quite frankly, I think having a positive attitude is one of my strong points, which I told her, and now I feel ridiculous for saying so.

I made the dough for a double batch of peanut butter blossoms, rolled it into balls and froze it so I can bake them next week. And I keep opening the bag and eating a dough ball. I'm a bad bad girl. ?

I confess that i'm quite nervous about building a new house, and having a mortgage and everything that comes with it. I have to find a new job when we move & that makes me even more nervous! But the new house and my current jobs are 100miles apart one way, and obviously there is no way I can do that drive every day!

I am also giving up my blackberry, and this makes me sad. But we are trying to cut back anyway we can, and while my blackberry only costs us an extra $30, but I guess it's somethng. I am also trying to figure out how we can get rid of our cable... Right now we have a package deal internet/phone/cable, but I HAVE to have the internet because my schooling is all internet based. & our cell phones dont work at the house, so we have to have a house phone. When we move i'm hoping that our phones will work and we won't have to have a house phone. (sorry i'm kinda rambling, im just putting my thoughts out there).

    I think thats about it.

Hm- nothing to say about the cats, I dont like cats. =)  My little sister has a cat who is pretty cute, but they aren't for me.  but Wyatt, our pit, likes to chew on the limbs to our Christmas tree, lol. =)

I'm sorry to hear you didn't get the job, but as I've said before, there is a job waiting for you! I think you are pretty positive- you keep getting out there and applying for positions and you keep getting interviews. Don't let what the lady said about you being sad upset you. She met with you for a little bit for an interview...i would probably be sad to if this was my 2nd or 3rd interview and i keep getting told "your great, but we found someone better"..

Keep your head up, you'll find the right job!

  • GRR - I am crazy busy with stuff to do sitting on my desk, and it just makes me not feel like working. I was out this morning at a work thing, so it wasn't time off. It's weird.. I used to LOVE getting out of the office, but now it seems like I have more to do and getting out of the office just stresses me a bit because it makes more work. Anyhow. enough on that.

I am maybe 15% done christmas shopping. Not good. BUT - DH's present came yesterday, a new pair of wonderful and warm boots.

I had him open them up right away last night because he really needed new ones, and he loved them! I have a pair of the same brand, just different style. They were spendy ($135ish, but I got them on amazon for $118 with free shipping so I think I did okay. He did grill me on how much I spent though... And, they are rated warm up to - 40 degrees F. Yay!!)
