I can't even imagine what his fiancee must be going through to know that their last words weren't happy with each other, or to feel like she might have been part of the cause.
My mom always said when you leave someone, you should always say goodbye like you're never going to see them again no matter how you feel about them in the moment.
This is so true. Anytime I leave someone I always think to myself it could be the last time, so I always make sure I tell them I love them and never leave on a bad note.
It seems especially tragic now that he was turning his life around... I admit, I was mad that the Bengals re-signed him. I thought he had been given many chances and blown them all. But this year his teammates and coaches kept saying how he had changed, and it seemed to show.
