Update on DH (if you were wondering)
At his blood test yesterday his platelets were 9K (Recap: Normal is
150K-400K, "safe" is considered anything over 30K). Last week he was
at 0, and on Monday he was at 3K, so he is definitely headed in the
right direction. The blood blisters in his mouth are clearing up and
he hasn't had a nosebleed since Tuesday afternoon, so hopefully he is
getting better. His next count is on Tuesday morning, he will also get
his next dose of treatment then. We will be leaving right after the
appointment for his parent's house for Christmas, so I am not sure how
I'll update you all, but I definitely will. Thank you again for all of
the T&P and support. You really are an amazing bunch of women! Also, it was great to see some of you on Sunday at the cookie swap, DH and I have been thoroughly enjoying all of the cookies!

Thanks for the update. I am glad that his numbers are going up. I checked into donating platelets and I can't : (
I am apparently borderline anemic, so I am not eligible to even give blood. Poop.
I'm sorry about the anemia, I have it too, but I take iron supplements and have been at the lowest possible value for donating the last few times. Thanks so much for looking it to it anyway!
