Nestie Expertise Needed
Hi Ladies!
I'm an Alabama nestie headed that way for the National Championship game. I am also an event planner and need your help--can you rec a venue that will hold upwards of 2,000 people? Inside or outside is fine, and cost isn't really an issue.
I have gotten a zillion phone calls from "event planners" in the area, but I thought I would go straight to the people who actually live in the area and get your opinion.

We've had a few corporate events at the Skirball Center, which is just off the 405 near the Getty - I'm not sure how convenient that is to where you'll be, but there are a lot of indoor/outdoor options.
Pasadena Civic Auditorium is also nice. They have ballrooms next door. Is that the convention center PP mentioned?
I also ditto the Skirball. And I've been to a conference at I believe the Sheraton near the airport. It was surprisingly nice.
