I have no idea what we're doing! We were invited to a few small house parties.. i know we're definetely not joining anyone at the bars because its way too expensive and I can't drink anyway...
What did you do last year? We had a house party at our place with some family and friends.
What are your plans for this year?
Re: New Years Plans?
Last year I was hugely pregnant and fell asleep on the couch at about 9:00.
Actually, this year will probably be much the same as last year. Haha.
minus the hugely pregnant part at least
haha, i was just about to ask if she's withholding info from us or something!
So far we have no plans. We are closing on our new house the 29th so we most likely will be painting and hiopefully moving that weekend. My mom mentioned that they want to take us to a fancy dinner, so we might at least do that.
This is our first year not throwing a party. Kind of bummed about that, but next year....
How's everything going with the house? Nice and smooth I hope!
I also have no idea what we're doing. We'll probably figure something out last minute.
Last year we spent time at home with the family because I knew there was a possibility I'd be moving three states away for work. So it was very low key.
So far so good. We're pretty much just waiting for Title to get everything setup. This whole process has been surprisingly smooth. We even found people to rent our townhouse within the first week and they don't want to move in until February 12th which is nice so we don't feel rushed to get out!!!
wow, perfect!! so glad its all working out! And all so fast, the best way. ;-) Make sure to take before and after shots of the painting you do etc!
this year I"m working shooting a NYE wedding! David is coming along as my 2nd shooter, so at least we'll be together!
last year we went to dinner and had a crazy dive bar experience where our tab just stopped at some point (we only paid like $30 together) and a dog showed up at the bar. Very interesting for sure!
Haha. Umm no. No surprises here. Definitely not pregnant. I am feeling huge, but that's just from the Christmas candy around the office. LOL
I don't think I've ever done anything terribly exciting or fun for new years. I'm lame.
I'm jealous of Alicia's plans, though! Sounds like fun.
margaritas in mexico
That sounds like so much fun! Enjoy yourself!
I think that's a great way to celebrate the New Year. At least you'll be partying it up with lots of cool & fun people!
We are hosting a house party at our house. We've been wanting to do this ever since we moved in. It's a tradition from Eric's family to host New Years parties...so it's nice for us to take the reins of it now. I'm excited, and we're having a super-duper fabulous potluck before we dance the night away! YIPEE!
