TMI question re: Brazilians
Never had one before.
If I get one done in the morning, will I be ready for "action" that night? Say 8-10 hrs later?
Most things that I've seen suggest a 24 hr wait, but I'm trying to surprise DH on our next date night, and I won't have a 24 hr window between the two.
TIA!
Re: TMI question re: Brazilians
I love questions like this because I always want to ask them but I am always too nervous!!
I would say it depends on your skin. If you have sensitive skin I would definately say NO, but if your skin heals pretty quickly from waxing then you may be ok, but definately the longer you can wait the better!
I have only had a brazilian one time and it was a long time ago and I waited a few days before any action occured. One thing I can say though, and it was learned the PAINFUL way... stay away from the beach...in particular Salt Water.... yeah, it still hurts to think about it!
I'm to chicken to even trim things up :wimper: All I can say is thank god for bathing suits with skirts!
Oh, and part of the reason I'm hesitant is that I don't look like a Victoria's Secret model & I don't want to let the salon people see my pudge. Guess I should just get over it huh?
You might be a little red and swollen, especially if it's your first one. Make sure you go to someone who knows what they're doing and it'll be fast and less painful. I used to go to Jane at Hyde Park Beauty First. Pop an advil about 30 minutes before you go to help with the pain and swelling.

REALLY!?!?!?!!?!?!?! I'm intrigued! I couldn't STAND to not have it - at the very least - "trimmed"
