Update on RivieraBound

Mike is still in the Palliative Care wing at Strong, he is being kept pretty heavily sedated in order to keep him comfortable and so he doesn't try to take out his IV's or get out of bed. He did wake up for a little while yesterday and Riv was able to talk to him a little bit, but he did not know where he was and was still a bit out of it.

Thanks again for your T&P on behalf of Riv and Mike, and I will keep youposted if I hear anything else.

thank you for the update, how awful..not that there is any good time of year for this, but this upcoming week is particularly bad. I will continue to keep her and Mike in my thoughts and prayers.

I feel terribly for both of them. I admire and envy Riv's strength through all of this. I'll be keeping them both in my thoughts and prayers.

His family is local, but at this time her family is not up here. I don't know if they will be coming up if/when the situation changes.

Thank you for updating us! It is so sad, poor Riv. I think about her and Mike all day.

I know her family can be a bit kooky (as can mine!), I hope they can be supportive for her!

Thank you for the update. I just wish there were more we could do for them- or something could change the situation. Riv is such an inspiration for us all, and my heart goes out to her and Mike.
