Please stay away!!

As much as I like snow during the holidays, I am hoping it stays away this weekend. My parents are on their way down now and I don't want them to get stuck anywhere. Also, as excited as I am about seeing them, I do NOT want them to get stuck here. They have plans with the rest of our family back home and I don't want them to miss it. Plus, more than 3 days, and they start to get on your nerves.

I know Amlinton mentioned not being thrilled with the chance of snow in FF. Who else is wishing it away? Anyone excited for it to come?

Re: Please stay away!!

  • It's not supposed to snow here this weekend, luckily.  My parents are bringing my son, and I can't wait!

I need it to stay clear on Christmas Eve, which is when we're making the trek to Iowa.

Yes please. Party of 4 plus two adorable kitties.

Umm, we only a bed for 2, but we have plenty of floor space! And as long as you kitties don't mind getting some bloodhound drool on them, they're welcome too!

    Woohoo!! =D

What's sad is I would normally welcome the snow since it's rare, but I don't want to inconveinece my parents (as if I have control of the weather anyway....haha)

  • Ugh, me too, Hudys. My parents are driving down on Saturday because of my brother's graduation on Sunday. The plan was to pick us up on the way to the college (we're in Brooklyn, he's on Long Island), go to dinner, and then drive back with the car Saturday night and drive back out earlish on the Sunday morning for the ceremony. Now I'm worried about the snow and I may have to take the stupid commuter train three times this weekend (I'm sure the snow will make it run SUPER smoothly too) or spend money to get a hotel room on the Island!
  • NO SNOW YET!!!
I have to work tomorrow AND the suv needs new tires!
