Name something...

that you just recently learned about your DH.

* I just found out that W listens to the radio station that plays Christmas music all December.

Re: Name something...

  • I learned last night that K and I have very different opinions on what constitutes as an "ugly christmas sweater" while we were picking ours out on ebay.
  • I learned that N has no idea what red hair is.  He only recognizes certain shades as red, mostly orangey reds.

many dark reds = brown to him

  • I have learned that I could shave my head and my husband wouldn't recognize a difference.  He is oblivious to any and all changes I make in my hair, wardrobe, etc.

I can chop literally 10-12 inches of hair off and he can't tell a difference...WTF?  I *guess* that's a good thing?

  • I learned that DH makes a much better dishwasher than a recipe reader when I was making my German chocolate cake batter for the 2nd time last night because DH didnt feel the need to read the last paragraph of the recipe to me that said beat and fold in egg whites and just skipped straight to put them in the oven.
  • We've lived in our apartment for 7 months. B still doesn't know where anything goes when he takes it out of the dishwasher. Including easy stuff, like spatulas. Of course he can find a spatula when I'm making something and I won't let him dip his finger in, but when it comes to putting it back, he's clueless.

    Ugh.

I'm friends with everybody in this office. We're all best friends - I love everybody here. But sometimes your best friends start coming into work late, and start having dentist appointments that aren't dentist appointments. And that's when it is nice to let them know that you can beat them up.
  • M is pretty awesome at work. I knew he was good at his job, but in the last month-he got a promotion and got an award for his work.  I'm so proud of him!

  • That he has tear ducts.

Seriously, we've been together for over seven years and he just recently cried for the first time. It was while watching Marley and me, but only after we got Chazzy. We watched it together before Chaz came along and he was dry as can be. This last time he weeped like a baby, though! Oh how I love when big strong men go soft and weepy.

  • That he has a higher tolerance for me being annoying that I thought! Last night we finally started catching up on some of our DVR'ed law and orders and when one of the attorneys stated her supporting evidence for a search warrant, I started arguing it, telling DH the flaws in her rationale and that is was gonna get thrown out, etc. (I was right, btw.) He totally humored me. :)
We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.

Awww.... DH refuses to watch this movie ever again because he cried too.  Its hard to watch a movie like that when you have pups of your own.

  • That he goes against every redneck stereotype (except the wearing camo and hunting one). I love this about him.

Adam Lambert's video came on last night and he goes 'this isn't too bad. the dude can sing.' Also, he informed me last night that he thinks Lady Gaga is good. Both comments surprised the hell out of me.?
