So I have a lead on a job. My best friend from home's husband e-mailed me that there was a position opening up at his company that he thinks I'd be perfect for. I read the job description and the position falls perfectly in line with my experience.
He just asked me to send him my resume - should I send a cover letter as well? I don't know the name of the person who does the hiring, but I could ask my friend . . . I guess I'm concerned about nagging him for too much information.
I haven't looked for a job in a while so I'm probably over thinking all this.
Re: Resume question . . .
IMO-if your friend's husband is personally going to give this to someone, you might not need the cover letter.
I would ask him again, anyway. Obiously, he thought of you, so I don't think it would be a pain to ask...
Wow! That's great that someone thought of you for a job!!!
