Um holy crap? I mean holy snow!

1' of snow!!! Just yesterday they were saying 2" MAYBE and now they are saying 1'! Holy cow! I had plans for Saturday but now they are moved. I predicted this would be a big winter for us after our mild summer and non-existent fall, I just didn't think it would be big this early!

  • I couldn't believe it either when I saw 8-12 inches!  Luckily I have no plans except a vet appointment at 9.  Maybe I'll get my Christmas cards started and gifts wrapped.  I think it will be a rough winter...SNOW DAYS!!

  • I know, it's crazy!  We walked all of the local news reports last night for Maryland and my jaw dropped when one had us in Maryland at 24-36 inches.  Who knows what will happen?  Most say more like a foot.

That sounds like a wonderful snowday!

We are going to be cleaning for some of the day, but then we are going to enjoy our clean house by playing Wii and drinking hot chocolate and watching movies. :)

  • I'm excited for the snow day! We are making holiday cookies and just spending some time together.
  • Stacey - what are you guys up to there? I can't believe how much snow we are getting! I am so glad that we made it home from the hospital yesterday afternoon before all of this! I can't imagine being stuck there!

I was thinking about you and so happy that you were home from the hospital.  I hope things are going well.

Gregg put a measuring stick outside and we've been keeping tabs on it.  I think we have about 21-22 inches right now and it's still coming down.

That is probably around what we have. I need to measure tomorrow. We have well over 1'. Actually, around noon today they changed our projection from 8-12" to 12-24" and we were more towards the 24 and I'd say that is about correct.
