I'm an aunt again!

DH's brother and SIL finally became parents yesterday evening.  Their daughter Olivia was born via gestational surrogate at 5:01PM, 7.1 lbs, 19 inches.  BIL & SIL have been through so much to get her here.  Multiple miscarriages, two failed IVFs (they took, but didn't make it past 10 weeks)...  Very happy for them for sure.

BFP#2 2.5.11 (EDD 10.15.11) DS born 9.28.11 due to Pre-E
BFP#3 10.2.12 (EDD 6.12.13) MMC 11.24.12 @11.5w, had passed in 7th week

    The best part is that I get to become an aunt AGAIN in early January.  I also heard that one of his sisters who's been ttc for over a year is doing IVF and if it takes there could be another one as soon as next September.  My husbands side of the family is doubling in size in the space of like a year.  Crazy.

    That's fantastic Junebug! I'm so happy for your fam, they must be thrilled :)

    I'm friends with everybody in this office. We're all best friends - I love everybody here. But sometimes your best friends start coming into work late, and start having dentist appointments that aren't dentist appointments. And that's when it is nice to let them know that you can beat them up.

    Haha, believe me we're getting asked that BIG TIME on his side of the family.  He has 3 siblings.  One just got this kid.  Another is due in early January.  The last one is doing IVF today.  Lots of not-so-subtle hints, nothing obnoxious, just comments about how Olivia would love cousins to play with and such.
