I just got offered a job in Oxford, Ohio (a promotion that resulted in a transfer to a different office in my company) so our little townhouse that we love in Mariemont is just going to be too far away.
So we will be putting our townhouse up for a sublet in the near future (if anyone is looking--it's only $745/month for 2 bedrooms/1 bath) and we are moving NORTH.
My husband works in Sharonville, so I guess we'll be looking in Fairfield, West Chester something in that area? Maybe as far as Liberty Township. But no Hamilton, no Middletown--just not my style and too far from Tim's work.
We would prefer to rent an entire house for about $800/month. Does anyone know anyone that needs renters? We have 2 dogs. Or does anyone know any *nice* townhouse communities? We like living in a townhouse, and are not interested in an apartment, but a single family home would be awesome.
Please PM me if you have any suggestions or would like more of my contact information about a property.
Re: Well, we're moving! (and need rental advice)
You could contact our Real Estate Agent, she is awesome. I'm not sure if she does much with renting houses, but it wouldn't hurt to contact her.

THANK YOU.
and thanks for the props on the promotion!
There is a community on Route 4 in Woodlawn. It's on the left if you're going north. I don't know the name but it's all gray siding (I think). My godparents' son lived there right after he got married. I think they're all rentals but I'm not sure if they're apartment or townhome style. I lived in Glendale for a year. There aren't so many apartments there but you might find a house for rent. I lived on the Village Square. It's right next to the train tracks-don't live on the road that faces the tracks! It was loud!!!
You mentioned Fairfield-some areas are really nice, some are just like Hamilton or Middletown. I looked at the city arts center for our reception. It's near the library. I think there are apartments nearby-again not sure if they're apartment style or townhomes, but the development looked nice.
Another idea is to rent a condo/townhome. DH lived in the Yacht Club (I-275 and Colerain). He had a condo but there are also townhomes and actual houses. I'm pretty sure that they changed the by-laws to allow renters. I'd also check out Becket Ridge (south of West Chester).
