Snowy day = too many calories

I started off the morning by using my professional belgian waffle maker to make the most delicious waffles topped with strawberries and whipped cream.  Then I made four dozen Christmas cookies (sooo fun) with different icings and sprinkles.  I am now making a sauce with stuffed lasagna roll ups.  He he he.  It is a good thing I did some shoveling today!

Re: Snowy day = too many calories

  • No kidding.  Yesterday, I made homemade meatballs and sauce to freeze.  Today, 2 batches of biscotti and a roasted chicken dinner.  I feel like a tub. :-/.
  • Dude. And you didn't call me over why!? :-P

ha ha ha!  Eat them of course!  I sent H into work with almost all of the cookies today.  I should not be left alone with them.

  • Agree! It wasn't sweets for us, but too much fat & cheese. We made a big breakfast which included bacon, then I made a huge pan of mexican layer dip, chips, and a cheese & cracker plate for the Pats game, then H made pork in the slow cooker & baked potatoes for dinner. I passed on the pork & substituted a salad by the time dinner came around because I could not take any more rich food...
