Booo for it being Monday already, but yay that it's only a 3 day work week!
AND I'm on vacation next week.
How was everyone's weekend?
Friday M and I went and saw Avatar, it was amazing.
I completely finished Christmas shopping and most of my wrapping. We got a snow storm yesterday but MIL and I still went out shopping and left everyone else to shovel lol.
Saturday M and I took our niece overnight. It was tons of fun, she's such a goofball.
I am hoping this week doesn't drag ass.

Dh and I played some games-he just doesn't understand that I am champion when it comes to Boggle-the rest of the games, No, but Boggle-I'm the Queen!
We shoveled, only got 6"-which is great considering Phila Airport got 22"! Got my new tires-yah! And DH and I were VERY lazy this wkend-we did a lot of cooking, though-made chili in the crock, bread in the breadmaker, and cookies (which I'm turning into a cookie!)
Yay for 3 day work weeks!
Friday we didn't do anything, Saturday my parents/son came, we went out to dinner. Sunday we had "Christmas morning" with my parents, the kids opened their gifts from them and we had breakfast. After they left, I went over to Walmart and exchanged all the clothes my grandmother sent for the girls (all the wrong sizes) and let them spend the $10 she sent.
Everyone keeps talking about this storm we're going to drive into on Thursday, it's making me nervous. I'm going to call Uhaul today and see if we can pick up the trailer Weds night since our local Uhaul place told me I'd have to go pick it up in a different city, and that will really delay us.

My weekend was pretty uneventful and I am hoping that this week will be too. Dealing with a busted dryer and power that wont stay on in my house made yesterday pretty sucky.
I just found out last night that we are to be attending dinner for D's birthday with his parents tonight, Thursday at his Moms, Friday at his Aunts and Saturday at his Mom's again. I think my head is going to explode.
Morning...
Friday- DH and I went out to eat and then done some major Christmas shopping.
Saturday- We drove to Jonesboro(sp?), AR to sell some car parts and pick some up. Then We came home and I did a little wrapping, then got ready for our Christmas Cantata. DH went to his dad's christmas party and I came after the cantata was over. Every yearthey always have a popcorn strining contest and DH and his step mother are ALWAYS together as a team, and have won for the past 10 year or so yeah 10 years. Well whe DH and I got married I asked him if he would be my popcorn stringing partner and he was like, uh no. Well for the past 2 years FIL has been my partner for the popcorn stringing. Well this year DH still wouldn't be my partner. Well FIL and I were partners again and I have to say we kicked DH and SMIL's tooshes!! LOL!! It was so great!! we beat them by 10 secs shy of a whole min. FIL and I got a trophy and bragging rights for a whole year!! It was soooo fun!!
Sunday- church and then DH and I went to eat lunch. Then we came home to rest and I did some more wrapping. Then the Christmas Cantata that night again, which I believe was the better of the 2 nights. We have a really great choir. and the kids sang with us on a few and they did great too!!
Then we went to visit DH's Gran cause she wasn't feeling good. She was suppose to sing in the choir but decided to stay home. Please still send some T&P her way.

Our weekend was pretty uneventful. Friday we went to my parents for dinner and were going to go see the Christmas lights but ended up crapping out and just going home.
Saturday I was lazy all morning and then went with DH in the evening to a Christmas party for his Jeep club.
Sunday DH and I went out early and finished up Christmas shopping. Then we both came home and crashed for a while. DH was nice and helped me clean. We went over to him mom's in the evening to see his sister who just flew into town.
But only a 3 day work week this week and like Sheri, I am off all next week!
I did not play hookie today. Booooooo. And I have a drug hang-over from my new muscle relaxer. Blaaaaaaaaaaah. I need gatorade.
I too hope this week will not ?drag ass?.
Friday ? We went to my friend?s Christmas party, which was a lot of fun. We ate a lot, drank a lot and then grabbed a cab home.
Saturday ? We slept in, had Thai food for lunch (hooray for massive bowls of Tom Yum soup!), and then finished up our Christmas shopping. My parents were coming in for my brother?s graduation but because of the snow, the school decided to delay the ceremony until Monday. Booooo. So we ended up spending the night in, watching Rataouille on TV.
Sunday ? My parents drove in with my brother and his girlfriend and we all went to a Boston bar to watch the Pat?s game. We won and then the Jets and the Dolphin lost, so it was a pretty good day! It was a lot of fun. After that, we went uptown to Rockefeller Center to look in the store windows, see the tree, and walk around St. Patrick?s. After that we went downtown to Little Italy for my brother?s graduation dinner. The food was great and a band came into the restaurant during dinner and played Christmas carols. Everyone was singing at their tables . . . it sounds corny, but it really was a lot of fun.
Oh and J gave me one of my Christmas gifts early! He got me a Tedy Bruschi jersey! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I wore it all day yesterday.
(AND my Christmas cards are finally out! I forgot to put my first name on them so mine are in the red envelopes!)
We had a very lazy weekend. Trying to get our new kitty acclimated to the house. There has been a lot of hissing and growling so this is a very serious matter *wink wink*, actually I think it is pretty funny. I hope they all get over it soon.
Also finished our Christmas shopping. We went really early to the mall on saturday so it wasn't too packed and the shopping was pretty uneventful and quick.
Sunday we watched football and cleaned the house.
Yay for a short week!
Friday I made a buttload of sugar cookies w/icing and cleaned. Got lazy and didn't pick up sweet gum balls and now they are all under 13 inches of snow lol! there's still some on the trees though, all hope is not lost for my wreath.
Saturday I was on blizzard watch, getting more & more excited as it came down so hard I couldn't see across the parking lot. Wrapped all the presents. DH got to come home early yay!
Sunday DH stayed home because we were "snowed in" He could have made it, but it was a pretty good excuse to not go ha! We had a fun day, definitely needed some time together.
We had a good weekend.
Friday: My parents got in before the ice and I was let off early to avoid driving in the weather. We made it out to get food, but we had to get it to go and just hungout in the house.
Saturday: We went to the city and walked around and went out to dinner together.
Sunday: We played Christmas Day and exchanged gifts and hung out.
It was a low key weekend and fun with the family.
