The dog ate K's gifts
My parents sent us wrapped gifts which I of course put under the tree without thinking. Well our girl dog took some of the packages up to her room (yes, the walk-in library/closet is her room) and ate them. They were Portuguese soup mixes that my parents sent to K. I know my mom works really hard to find thoughtful things for K. I feel so awful!

Oh no! I am sure that K will be appreciative of the thoughtfulness from your parents and see the humor in the situation.
I would feel bad too and I think I would be scrambling to replace it if possible.

Did you have any luck on Amazon?
No, I just checked there first for the free shipping, but no luck. My mom said they weren't a big deal and she'll pick them up again next time she is near the Portuguese grocery store. Still, I feel bad.
That is so sad- but it's the thought that counts.
