Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Last night my step dad sent out a text... it went like this
"Granny called 911 last night while Ken was at church. She told them that Ken hit her 4 times, and that the Jehovah's witnesses had moved in".
Ken is her husband, they've been married about 5-6 years. They live in KY. She is in her early 80s, has alot of health problems, and she has always been slightly delusional.
In Sept she had some kind of vascular surgery. The day she was going to be discharged from the hospital she fell of the hospital bed and broke her hip.... more surgery, and then they moved her to a rehab facility where she was supposed to spend several months.
Apparently Ken fought with the facility to bring her home. The state got involved and said - fine, you can bring her home, BUT if you are not there, someone has to be there. If we come to your home and she is there alone she will not be there when you get home.
So I guess he went to church last night and left her there....She is admitted to some hospital for a psych eval. According to my mom she probably will not go home from the hospital, they will send her to a nursing home.
Sad. I am not close w/ her, but she is still my granny. I am wondering if this is the beginning of the end.
