It's Christmas week!

3 more days to go!  Were you able to take advantage of being snowed in this weekend and get a lot accomplished?  What's left on your "to do" list?  Feeling relaxed about it or feeling stressed?

Re: It's Christmas week!

  • I'm excited that it's Christmas week, but I'm starting to feel a little stressed.  I got nothing done this weekend since we just relaxed and played in the snow.  I have tons of presents to wrap, a few more to buy, and a couple of toys to put together...all before the big man makes his arrival!
  • We got ZERO done.  Ethan and I are really sick.  I had to have Matt stay at home on Friday and I'm struggling today.  I still have a list of things to do but have no idea how I'm going to get anything accomplished plus go back to work for the next 2 days :(

  • yay for christmas week!  i still have some baking left to do and thats about it.  i may help my mom wrap some of the presents for the grandkids.  i am kind of worried about this stomach bug that is going around my family...i DO NOT want to be sick for christmas!!
  • Aw, I hope you start feeling better soon Christina, and Ethan, too :(

I literally did not leave the house at all this weekend and loved every minute of it.  We were able to get our last bits of shopping done on Thursday night including our last grocery store run.  Friday night I did a bunch of cookie baking, Saturday we wrapped gifts, and Sunday I finished up the cookies while DH shoveled snow.  I still have some cleaning to do yet over the next few days, and then Wed. night I'll work on my contributions for Christmas Day dinner.  That's pretty much it.  Somewhere in there I'd like to squeeze in an eyebrow appt. and paint my nails :)  Right now I'm feeling ready and relaxed, but I'm sure come Wed. I'll feel some stress once I realize the things I've likely forgotten, lol.

  • Yay for Christmas!!! I've been done with everything for the past 2 weeks.  Cookies are baked, gifts bought, gifts wrapped, cards sent, decorations up, and I've just been relaxing!  : )

I hope you feel better, Christina...Ethan too!

  • I still need to run out and get a gift for Steve's stepfather.  Then we need to pack!!  We are going down to the ILs in the Smokies.   I am looking forward to being down there in the winter, it should be beautiful.  Saturday should be outlets in Pigeon Forge with MIL!
  • Denise - that sounds wonderful!  Next time we go back to Tennessee we want to go during the winter, I'm sure it's gorgeous!
  • I cant believe Christmas week is here --- I have been sick as well!   Saturday - Scott and I both worked, Sunday we baked, today we shopped!!  We have a few little things to buy!   Two more days of work then break - I can't wait!!!
