Who works for a hotel? Jenny??

I'm trying to remember...

We made reservations at the Ramada in Iowa.  It was a special rate and said no refunds or changes, and that the card would be charged immediately for the full amount of the reservation.  (Made them right on the Ramada website, not through a 3rd party).  They have NOT charged my card, and we made the reservations months ago.  Do I have any hope of being able to cancel the reservation without being charged in full, because of the weather?

Re: Who works for a hotel? Jenny??

  • Jenny...its for you...
  • It is me :). Marriott doesn't frequently do advance rates, but when we do, we have a similar cancellation policy, and we definitely back down when someone wants to cancel with no charge. It's worth it to ask! And (in most cases), you catch more flies with honey, so get your a$$ kissing face on and give them a call. I hope they help you out! And if the hotel doesn't, see if you can find a corporate number to call.
