Freaking Out!

Last night, at about 4 am, I was nursing Evan and I saw a mouse in his room! I had to bite my hand to keep from screaming. I hate those things. I brought him to bed with us after that.

Then, this morning, DH and I went to check things out and I found mouse droppings on my nursing chair! I am so disgusted I could vomit.

How can I let him sleep in his room now? I just want to go in there and scrub everything, because who knows what their infested little bodies touched.

I have a call into the exterminator, fingers crossed they can come ASAP. If not, I'll set some traps.

BLECH! I am still shuddering.

Re: Freaking Out!

  • YIKES!  That would totally freak me out too!

I hope you can get an exterminator in ASAP.

  • That is horrible, and so disgusting. I would've had to keep myself from screaming too. I hope the exterminator is able to come today.

  • Ick! I would want to scrub down everything too. Get some mouse traps out!

My SIL had a wierd experience recently where she went to the nursery to put my niece down and there was a squirrel in the bed!! Ya...that's right...a squirrel. To this day they have no idea how it got there. Imagine that!?

  • DH's uncle is in the rodent removal business and he has this great little package (like the size of a wallet) that a mouse bites into (through the plastic, into the ingredients), poisons it, & disintergrates the mouse, so that there is nothing for you to remove (like from a trap). there is no residue nor odour.

talk to someone in your area about this product... I don't know the name of it right now, but it works wonders!

  • ewww I'd totally freak as well!!!

I hope the exterminator gets in there soon
