I get Christmas cards, open them, and if they don't have a picture to hang up on fridge, I immediately throw them in the trash. I don't know why, but I just don't see any purpose keeping xmas cards or displaying them anywhere...I would rather people just not send me them

I feel bad about it, but honestly, unless a card hasa picture on it, what is the point of keeping it? I am curious to know what people do with their xmas cards.

I put mine in a pile and then toss them them like two days after Christmas.

I have a bowl where I have been stashing every card we've gotten since we moved into this house (so, all the cards from last year plus the random Easter/St. Patrick's Day/etc. ones from my dad). When it gets full, I don't know what I'll do, but we have some time. I feel bad throwing them out, like I'm throwing out the love! <--why I have so much crap around this house

Shag - I do the same thing - and even worse, if the picture isnt cute and I know you wont be at my house to see it (i.e. you live in another state, etc) the card goes in the trash picture and all.

Ours are all displayed on the mantle...I'll throw away all but the picture ones after Christmas. I love Christmas cards.

Similar to Leigha, ours are on display on our mantle. After Christmas, I'll put a rubber band around them and throw them in the card drawer, where I've kept every card we've gotten since our engagement. Sad but true.

Mine are up on the mantle, but get tossed immediately after the holidays.

I did keep every one of our wedding cards tho, and all the ones from my shower and the ones we got after our engagement. They were pretty.

haha... DH is telling me I have to swear off baking for the month of January - healthy stuff only so he can win the 3 month bet to lose more weight than his cousin in 1 month (his cousin has been doing p90x everyday since before THanksgiving, DH has done nothing but he swears he can just start running). Maybe I'll have to bake for you ladies.

I keep them. I am kind of a SAP but I like to go back after a few years and look at them again. I just have a tote full of cards that i keep with all of the christmas stuff.

I have a card tree thing that I put them on during Christmas. Then I pack them away with my X-mas decrations but only so I know who sent us a card the year before. I throw them out after I address my cards for that X-mas.

Haha, after the holidays we rip the front of the cards off and use them as tags for next years gifts.
