I am such a baking amateur
I found a recipe for homemade cinnamon rolls. We decided to make some for Christmas morning and hopefully make it a tradition (if they turn out ok!) But I went for the ingredients last night and could not for the life of me find yeast! Gavin was throwing a fit and trying to climb out of the cart so I gave up. I guess I'll be going back tomorrow morning when that's the only thing I need and get it before the grocery cart tantrums start!
Re: I am such a baking amateur
check near the cheeses. That is where my yeast is. Wegman's just move it on me in fact. You can also buy it in packages or in a jar. Depending on how much you intend to make it might be easier to have the jar.
I too will be making cinnamon rolls for the masses. A batch for my parents house, one for my house, one for my brother's house and some more for the neighbors. Guess what I am starting on tonight and tomorrow!
Yes that's where I find the yeast too. But not near the fancy cheese...near the bagged cheese, butter, etc.
