Re: Morning!
Good morning.
My evening was productive. I finished Christmas shopping, put most of what we're taking by the front door for loading & we opened gifts last night. Well, just P & I.
After work we're going home, loading & give C his dinner & bath. Then we'll head out to Cali while he sleeps.
Last night was good. Dh and I just relaxed and watched, White Christmas. Neither of us had seen it before.
Tonight- we will be spending time with some family that is in town. I am taking tomorrow off and Dh and I are going to Disneyland. I still have not seen it yet this year decorated for Christmas. So sad!
Brandy- how come you guys didn't come out earlier like you had originally planned? I am assuming you are driving?

P decided that we weren't going to the bengals/san diego game (thank god). So, since we didn't have to travel within the game day we bumped our trip. Now we're able to visit for an extra day & use one less vacation day!
Using less vacation time is a much better idea! Drive safe!
Morning!! It's my last day of work and than I don't come back till Jan 4th

Last night I had to go back to staters cause I forgot to get the stuff for the dishes I'm bringing to xmas and I have to send DH back because I forgot to get the ingredients for the guacamole he's suppose to make.
Today I get off at 12, so I'm going to hit Joanns real quick to get some more wrapping stuff. Than home to just relax with the kids, well as much relaxing as they'll let me do.

Let's see, I got a few books (the new one for Augusten Borroughs, i'm pretty excited about that one. The new jay-z cd, some perfume & candy. P bought me the candy I craved last year so it was funny to think back for a min. He's holding back on one gift (cheater). he said it's from Cameron & I have to wait. that brat....
Seriously!! Since I have to take both of them I don't have room in the cart for a lot of stuff so I have to do a lot of mini trips. And than Joaquin switching to table foods threw us for a loop. and this week it's just been poor planning on my part. The good thing is SB is only a block away.
Cool! Ooh I bet Cameron picked out something good.
Robyn - White Christmas is one of my favorite holiday movies!
Last night went to the grocery store to buy stuff for our team's
holiday potluck today. I decided to make a jalapeno dip and mac and
cheese. The recipe for mac and cheese asked for 5 cups cooked pasta
and I had no idea what that translated to for uncooked pasta. I
decided to cook 4 cups uncooked not expecting the pasta to expand that
much and I ended up with 10 cups of pasta! I ended up making mac and
cheese for our dinner last night too just because we had so much! I
also got around to wrapping gifts and was not in a wrapping mood so I
just used lots and lots of gift bags
Today is our holiday pot luck and I hope we get some yummy food. After
I'm so stoked too because thanks to my Travelzoo enewsletter I found awork, we'll be doing laundry and starting our packing for our trip on
Friday.
pretty cool hotel in San Diego on sale and Valentine's day wkend wasnt blocked so I decided we're going to SD for Valentine's Day weekend. I havent told H (hoping to suprise him but that never works out) but hes been wanting to go there for awhile so I think he'll be excited. If anyone has any restaurant recs in SD, let me know!
I hate grocery shopping. it's too overwhelming & I never buy enough for the week.
Go J! We have so many jars of baby food, C will eat it but he loves table & it's more convenient (when we're out of the house).
I'm sure he did too.

WHOA I sooooo overslept! DH and I had a bit of an argument last night- so I didn't sleep well- and I JUST woke up
Today i'm making tamales and doing some baking
Last night was horrible. Sarah came home from daycare with some sort
of stomach bug and managed to throw up every 15-20 minutes until
4:30am. We finally put her back in her crib at 5:15am and I fell
asleep on the floor so I would be there in case she got sick again.
We slept for a couple of hours before she woke up starved. She's been
fine since. Now C, Grandma, Pop-Pop and I are hoping we don't get
it! I fell back to sleep for about 2.5 hours so I'm just exhausted.
I did manage to FINALLY wrap all of the Christmas gifts last night!

instead of waiting until the last minutes to do it and then have so
much to do...hmmm...have to try that for next year.
