I decided that I wanted to get Paul one non-tool-related gift. I go to the Walmart and slosh through the muck, grab a copy of the Hangover and stand in the long line. I get back and realized I grabbed a Blu-ray disc, not a regular DVD. Grrrrrrr... Oh well, I'm still giving it to him and he can return it. I should have just stopped while I was ahead.
Re: Stocking stuffer fiasco
damn i hate when i do stuff like that! oh well! Funny movie tho, i've watched it about 4 times already this week lol
my mom was saying she saw a bootleg copy of it a few weeks ago.. she goes "That movie was sooooo dirty!" ahahha
If you had bought him the Xbox he could watch the blu ray in there. LOL
Play it off like you didn't know it was blu ray. OH sorry Honey I guess you will have to return it. lol
this.
Blu Ray is basically high def movies, but they don't work on a regular dvd player (think the switch from vhs to dvd). Basically they are the same, but with all the HD tvs now they're making HD movies too
you're thinking PS3.
the xbox had a HD DVD player but HD lost the fight and Blu Ray won (although they are pretty much the same type of DVD just with different names)
Thank you! As you can tell, I am electronically challenged.
Hahaha. Oh, I would be pissed. I can't believe you were brave enough to face the chaos!
Elisa - BluRay is great. The pictures are amazing. Vik recently bought a PS3 for his birthday (and it comes with a built in BluRay player). He finally bought a BluRay movie this week (The Hangover, no less!) and we watched it for the first time the other day. I couldn't stop commenting on how bright and crisp the picture was. I can only imagine it's 10x better for movies with special effects and such.
margaritas in mexico
Its ok, I am also electronically challenged by DH is a super electronic geek and we have to have all the best everything
Elisa I didn't know the difference either. I just knew it wasn't what I needed. I am totally challenged in everything electronic for sure.
Good catch on giving him the stuffers last so he doesn't think he's getting a player. That wouldn't have been good. lol
