I have some friends/family coming over for boxing day (6 peeps in total).
what should I make for food on boxing day? I don't want to copy a traditional christmas meal and know people will be full from the day before. i also recognize my own limitations. any suggestions would be most appreciated!!
TIA!
Re: boxing day meal? help!

in the houses we've gone too lately, Lasagna seems to be a stand-by dish for something easy to pop in the oven (not even home-made, but store bought lasagna)
Last year we had lasagna like 6 times in December. I'm so sick of lasagna :P but I must admit it's a good, easy dish, and you can serve with garlic toast and caesar salad.
a tradition in my house is Chilli;
It is easy and simple and a nice change to turkey!
what about a huge green salad with toppings on the side:
?
a variety of dressings
a selection of ?proteins (seeds, chicken, bacon, chickpeas, flake tuna, HB eggs)
good croutons
assorted veggies
?
?
And then add some antipasti type dips, with crackers, cheese, and lots of fresh veggies & fruit plates.
?
People will love light/healthy food for a change!?
?
MMMmmmm chili, salad and crusty buns.
Easy, comforting and tasty as hell.
