I have eaten a minimum of three apples a day for probably close to the last two months.
I never really even liked apples all that much and now I cannot get enough. Vik even bought me two CASES of apples (if you're not familiar, that's about 8 - 3lb bags of apples a piece). 48 lbs of apples... all for me!

Re: Random fact
WOW that is A LOT of apples!
Do you like them cut up or uncut?
too funny pammy. actually, now that you mention it, after i ran out of apples in november and hadn't eaten any in a few days, i got the flu. so they must keep the doctor away! right? okay, that may be a stretch.
and i prefer them cut. though at work i mostly have to eat them uncut because i rarely leave enough time to do anything other than throw them in my bag in the mornings.

Props to you!
I'll only eat them cut...I have a weird paranoa about my teeth getting stuck when I bite into hard things like that and them ripping out (this includes corn on the cobb...I usually just cut it off).
You should get one of these slicer thingys. We have one and its sweet!

Hahahahaha. I like to think the two habits balance each other out
We have one of those cutters too - they're the best. I think I need to get another one to keep at work, that's brilliant!

I know - it's kind of like cigarettes I suppose, but without the horrible side effects. I'm lucky that the H works in produce, so we get the apple hook-up. Lol. They had a huge overstock earlier this year, so the two cases he bought were $6 a piece - only $0.25 per pound. How awesome is that?

Love honeycrisps. The U of MN created sweet tango apples this year which is a mix of honeycrips and zestars. They were sooo good, but hella expensive.
My cheap apples were all fujis and braeburns. They're pretty good, but nothing can top the honeycrisp and sweet tango!
(As I type this post I am laughing at myself because 6 months ago I knew only two types of apples - red and green. Lol.)
