Yeah no kidding...NO ONE buys a fence on Christmas eve, that's who. <sigh> I think the phone has run 3 times since 7:30 and one of those times it was DH. I mean, DH and my dad are out on a job right now and so are some of the crews and I have some paperwork that I'm refusing to do but it's so stupid to be here. GRRR.Can you tell I'm a little bitter!? lol!
And I miss you too! It actually HAS been busy around here so I've been on less. So what's new with you?

Ugh, I'll be so happy when this year's over! Moved BACK to liverpool. (PLEASE shoot me if I move at all next year, it's beginning to be a pattern). Got a promotion at work. I've stopped riding in favor of working with emma and doing WORK, I can't take the thursdays off to ride like i used to. and I've been sewing like a madwoman! I'll be happy when the holidays are over...

Congrats on the promotion! That's too bad your not riding anymore.
Yeah, they have been in the past, but not with Christmas Eve. I don't understand why we need to be here (4 of us), but at least I'm getting paid and plus T is working too, so I might as well be too.
N- that's insane! Any idea what caused it?
Are you going to get to see DH for xmas? how did the christmas tree set up go?

Thankfully everyone (people AND horses) are fine. The fire started just before 5. I had a 6 pm lesson so I was just getting to the barn when the fire trucks were. A 12 year old girl got all the horses out of the barn...
They think the fire started because of the extra heaters that were in the barn to make sure the pipes didn't freeze, but they arent entirely sure.

Ditto this! lol. It's an exercise in how to look busy without actually doing anything, because our GM is actually in the office today. Thank God for Alt-Tab!
