Not sure who's all here today...
Merry Christmas Eve, everyone! What plans do you have?
Warm wishes for a safe and happy holiday...the forecast sadly was right and it sounds like Chicagoland is experiencing similar icy weather.
(It was almost comical this morning when I took Xena out. The stoop was iced over and a layer of ice had already crusted the snow so you could hear the sleet plinking against it - I don't think I've ever heard that sound before! LOL)
Re: Merry Christmas Eve!
.: Diary of a Recovering Runner :.
Tis the day to make food, apparently! LOL After I leave work, I have to finish up my Oreo truffles (they're in the freezer - have to melt and dip them in chocolate and after they've cooled, melt and drizzle with red & green candy melts
), wrap up the bacon-wrapped water chestnuts, set up/eat fondue, put together the crockpot egg casserole for tomorrow morning, and hopefully Greg will do the Grape Salad (he usually does.)
Mmmmmm, food.
I am here but headed to the store to get a couple of things we need for our appetizer night tonight and I need to get a move on it because it's gonna start snowing any time now. We could get anywhere from 1-8 inches.
Everyone who is traveling be safe and Merry Christmas to all!
Hi Girls! Merry Christmas eve! I worked for a few hours this morning but I am home now. I am getting some laundry done and then I am going to back my car and pick up the food I am bringing to Christmas eve dinner and then I am heading to my parents for the night (MH is working
)
I hope everyone has a happy safe holiday!
Merry Christmas Eve! DH and I are both off through the 4th, it's much needed.
We're going to the IL's house later so woo-hoo ;o) (firied stinky fish for dinner is not my idea of a good dinner, at least all the other non-meat foods are pretty good )
So, I'm sitting here waiting on MH. This morning he went to the gym. When he got back, he went back to bed (while I cooked). I told him we needed to be at my parents house by 12:30. He just now got in the shower. Sigh. I need to start telling him we need to be places an hour before we actually need to be there.
My casserole is getting cold.
I'm so sorry he's still at work!
Even the Walmart around here was closing today at 6!
I saw pics of the apple cake which looked yummy! What was the other dish you had posted about earlier? Flavored butter and.... (sorry ... the wine I had with dinner erased my memory...!)
