WDYT (clothing)
I have these two dresses that I think I might wear for Christmas Day (w/ILs) and for NYE (also at ILs):
Since it's cold and it'll dress them down a little (I can already hear MIL yelling at me for "dressing up" but they're comfortable, dammit!), I will probably wear black suede boots.
I also have one similar to the first one in solid red I will probably wear to my family Christmas with the black boots...
Would you wear tights? What color/pattern?

I think they're all good, especially since you're doing family-oriented things. If you were going out on the town for NYE we'd have a discussion about "flaunting what yo mama gave you."
ETA: I haven't even thought about what I'm wearing for Christmas. I'll prob wear jeans and a sweater. It's pretty relaxed. NYE - it's just me, Mike and some booze at home. I can where whatever I want (or don't want ;-) to that.

I was this.close to buying black 'fishnet" ones to go with the red dress and black boots. LOL I just bought a standard pair of gray and black at Target, so we'll see!
