Re: How was your Christmas?
Congratulations!
We had a great Christmas! Hosted a total of 19 people (including ourselves) and ate ourselves silly. And we got a Wii from my sisters! Now we're off to brunch in a little bit at my aunts house and hanging out with family a little more. Eventually I need to do a more thorough cleaning of the house though :P
Hope you all had a wonderful holiday too!
Christmas was great except for the fact that I had to work 8-8.
Christmas Eve was spent in the city with DH and my parents. We went to a great restaurant in the South End and even had a Lincoln sedan take us there and back. DH and I received a DVD/Blu-Ray player from my parents. Now all we need is the HD TV to go with it! haha.
Then after my shift at work I went to DH's family for the evening. Had some great leftovers.
My highlight gift was the Seinfeld Scene-It game. Soo excited to play! And my SIL got me some coffee that used to be sold at Target but now, apparently, can only be bought online. Very excited to drink that.
The festivities are continuing to tomorrow when I go visit my aunt, uncle and grandparents for brunch. It's a good thing I signed up for a 5k in March so I can work off all of the holiday grub during the winter.
Ours was nice, quiet and low key since my family left on the 23rd after a fun (but tiring) visit.
Today we ran errands, we were out for SEVEN hours, I don't know what got into us, but there were some great deals, and since we live far from family we usually get gift cards, so we ended up using some of those, DH got a wicked good deal on a new TV for the bedroom. The ILs sent us the Nike+ shoe/running accessory, so hopefully that will motivate us to run.
