vendor post ?

We've had a lot of drama on the board lately, esp. regarding DJ posts (long story) and now this person states blatently that they are a vendor, and just wanted to post advice on picking DJs. They didn't say who they were or plug their services, but they still can't post, right? I didn't post on the thread, but sent them a PM saying that they were still not allowed to post. Is this right? Should I delete the post too? Do I need to ban?

Re: vendor post ?

  • If they are a vendor, you automatically delete/ban/email Annie to let her know (I C&P the post into an email).  Posting in itself is a form of advertisement (though w/o the company name, that's questionable), even if the intention of the post is not to advertise.  Either way, vendors are not welcome - they can choose to be a bride/groom, or choose to be a vendor.  Once the cat's out of the bag, they're banned.
