As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Sadness (not real sadness, just bummed)
My parents were supposed to drive up today to do Christmas but the roads are too sh!tty. I am super bummed. My mom was almost in tears on the phone until I reminded her she gets to see Hunter on New Years Eve (she is watching him overnight).
I consoled myself by throwing away our nasty coffee table and making DH buy me a fancy new ottoman. Now if I can convince him to get rid of the living room furniture by playing the sad card.....

I'm so sorry about that - what crappiness! I order all roads to Rachel be cleared immediately!!!...Well, that probably didn't work but I tried :-).
Atleast you got a new ottoman (I know, not the same as seeing your parents b/c nothing can replace that)...hopefully the sad card will work for furniture...it might have already lost some of its power in the ottoman.

I'm sorry you didn't get to see your parents, but at least you will see them NYE and they can have quality Hunter-time.
I recently figured out where you live in Iowa, and wonder if you know DH's ex's family. That would be weird, and I would feel very awkward!
