What is your skin regimen for your face?

At first I was just going to ask about wrinkle creams/serums/magic potions, but I am also curious what others do for their entire face on a daily basis.

Please share your product raves.  There is a special place in my heart for anyone that throws me an idea or two for my aging skin.  Big Smile

Re: What is your skin regimen for your face?

  • I love Murad skincare.  I use the cleanser, toner, serum and moisturizer (and then use the mask once a week).  They have a line for acne and a line for aging and others.  Sephora sells it - and you can buy a sampler pack to try it out.
  • I wash my face with Oil Free Neutrogena in Grapefruit.  I have Loreal eye make up remover in the blue bottle.  I have Clean and Clear spot treatment if I need it.  I use Oil of Olay Mouisturizer in Combination/Oily skin.  I use a mix of stuff!  I don't have any toner or eye cream... but wouldn't mind some good recs for that stuff!
  • I use cosmedicine healthy cleanse, which is a cleanser/toner in one according to the peeps at Sephora.  I use that with my clarisonic, which I LOVE.  For moisturizer I use Clinique moisture surge.

Kiehls makes an excellent eye cream called Abbysine eye cream.  I use that when I remember.

  • I am totally weak when it comes to anti-aging products!  I have sensitive skin, so I don't know how helpful this will be for you, but:

In the morning, I use Dermalogica ultracalming cleanser.  I used Dermalogica gentle toner, and some skinceuticals stuff before dermalogica moisturizer/sunscreen.  (I don't remember the name of the moisturizer, but it comes in a white tube and is green.)  I use oil of olay eye regenerist stuff around my eyes, and oil of olay total effects on my neck & upper chest to fight the seven deadly signs of aging/sunblock.

At night, I use the same cleanser, but then just eye regenerist & moisturizer--some purple oil of olay stuff.

  • I use Estee Lauder skin care stuff (thanks, Mom).  Well, Cetaphil as my cleanser, and Estee Lauder moisturizer, etc. Since I'm young by their standards, I use the most basic moisturizer. I'll level up when I need repairing lotions as opposed to preventive lotion. I also use their under eye cream and night repair serum. This stuff is pricey, but the under eye cream works great when I actually use it. I have hereditary dark circles that nothing has ever worked on (including 10 million hours of sleep) and when I use the under eye cream consistently, I actually see results. That leads me to continually question myself as to why I don't use it regularly! I'm so lazy with the nighttime routine.
We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.

  • I use Mary Kay Timewise.  Luckily, I'm not too worried about wrinkles at this time but it's good prevention I guess and I just like the way it works with my skin.  I use the Microderm in the shower, the cleanser, moisturizer and the day and night solution.  It's pricey (to me) but it works well.

  • Cetaphil cleanser, I use Dior Capture Totale Serum, Eye Cream and Moisturizer.
  • I use Origins. I have super dry, sensitive skin.  I cleanse with Pure Cream, then hydrate with Make a Difference tonic and Make a Difference moisturizing cream. Two/three times a week, I use Modern Friction which is an exfoliater.

My only "aging" related problems are dark circles and teeny, tiny wrinkles at the corners of my eyes (though that's probably more due to dryness than age.) I just started sampling Origins' Perfect World white tea serum.  I'll let you know if it made any difference.

My number one ingredient for great skin is classic H2O.  Drink, drink, drink! (and sunscreen. Do not skimp on the SPF.)

  • I use Oil of Olay in the a.m. and Noxema in the p.m. Boring, I know. I always use a moisturizer. oil of olay in the warmer weather or a cream in the colder weather.
  • i am very fortunate to have inherited my mother's wrinkle free skin, so even as i face the big 40, i don't really have any at all.  my mom has drilled into my head the benefits of using sunscreen, so that goes on first thing out of the shower.  then at night, i remove makeup using st. ives makeup remover and then follow with queen helene's oatmeal and honey facial scrub.  so far, so good!
