Anyone have experience with wall decals?

I am planning to order a wall quote decal for Baby Shoe's room but I don't know what size to order. MH thinks we need something at least 4 inches tall. I think that's going to be way too big. I say 2 inches, no more than 3 total.

Has anyone ever done one of these? What's the best way to determine the size we'll need?

So sweet! I'd say get it bigger than you think you need. You'd rather it fill the space completely than not enough. I hope you do a better job than I did. My flowers peeled off.

Thank you. I looked through about a thousand before deciding on this one.

Cissy, I emailed an etsy shop that got good reviews on the Nursery board. They said her quality was great so I've got my fingers crossed!

Love the quote, that is going to look great up on the wall. I want a wall decal monogram for above our bed and I'm having the same problem determining the size. Maybe what you can do its measure out a piece of paper the size of the quote and stick it on the wall and then look at it from afar, the way you will see the decal. You might have a better idea of the size. I'm not sure who said it but I agree with going a little bigger than smaller.

I had something for Elise when we lived at the condo, saying Sweet Dreams or something to that sort over her bed. They were large though, not little ones....I guess it depends on where you're putting them?

It's going to go above the crib. I need to take some pictures and post them. The room finally looks like a nursery!

You can get an idea using masking or painters tape, spell out one of the words and you can use that as your reference for size.

4 inches sounds about right. They sell some of these wall decals at hobby lobby and Kohls. I bought a quote for a frined for like 3 bucks at Kohls and it was regular 30...

Brit--I'm getting vinyl for 10 bucks a roll for 10 yrds from my cousin. He has a sign shop.

Anyone have experience with wall decals?
