What did Santa Bring You?
what did you get for Christmas?
Re: What did Santa Bring You?
We had a great Christmas too! Santa brought me a digital frame with a memory card already loaded with pictures- I could sit & watch for hours! Haha
"Liam" also gave his mom & dad a new digital camera- we really needed one, so that was rather thoughtful of him.
My parents got us a new toaster oven. It is officially the nicest thing in our kitchen!
I am just trying to get a handle on all of Liam's new toys! Our little house is getting really overwhelmed!
I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
my parents are taking us on a cruise in August and also gave us gift cards
my IL's gave us a gift card to put towards a new kitchen floor and a bunch of little stuff
Dave gave me a new board game Apples to Apples, a new coach puirse that he picked out himself and some movies
It was a really great Christmas
my parents gave us a PS3, and TJ and i are kind of just staring at each other b/c we never use the wii they gave us, but i hear there are lots of fun things you can do with it!
TJ got me a 26" (i think) plasma and wall mount for the room for my treadmill!! i'm soooo excited, because its what i really wanted, and i didn't even hint that much! haha
lots of gift cards and baby stuff too. i can't get over how cute some of these onesies are.
it was such a great holiday - so much fun with the family!
Then between family members, i got giftcards, money, nice big lotion set from bath and body, steeler snuggie, candle, a painting for our kitchen.. soo many random things that I can't even recall unless i go look.. and Im lazy. ;-) Ohh but his mom did get us this shower cleaner (cant remember the name) that I've wanted for a long time and never bought! One of those ones you hang on your shower head and you press the button and it sprays the shower down? lol. His uncle in OC had one a few years ago and I didn't know what it was.. so I pressed the button when I was in there. 2 mins later I was sprayed with cleaning stuff lol. Ever since, I've wanted one lol.
This is hilarious!
Lewis bought me a TAG watch. Love it!
I also got an apron, an arm band for my Nano, a fleece vest, a digital keychain, sheets, and huge George Forman grill.
my parents gave me a huge food processor that i REALLY wanted... yay! i'm making guacamole in it today.
zach gave me the movie UP, the glee soundtrack, and the wolverine origins movie... (he said he got it so i could have some eye candy... hehe.. he knows i PPH hugh jackman!)... some pretty rings, and a beautiful white gold chain necklace. he said that he kept racking his brain trying to figure out what to get me that was special enough.. he decided on the necklace so that as he continues to build my trust after the cheating, he can add on to the necklace...he didn't buy anything for it yet, because as he says, we're starting from scratch. i was kind of disappointed at first, but as i've been thinking about it, it really is thoughtful and sweet.
he also got me a new charm for my charm bracelet at james avery, but he forgot to go pick it up so i'll see what charm it is tomorrow. lol
all in all, a very merry christmas at the green house!
We got a 46" LCD and a bunch of V. Secret stuff from my parents. Paul got me a Wii and his parents got me the Fit to go with it. I love it!! He also got me some clothes, pashminas, sunglasses, and KitKats (lol). Dexter got mommy garnet earrings (his birthday stone). Not sure why but I got a little emotional when I got those. All-in-all it was a fantastic Christmas.
Well lets see. I got a new winter coat(Pette Coat) I wanted! Fluffy socks, yoga pants, fussy pj pants, Fleece Jacket from my parents! I wanted the Socks and Pj's for after collin's born.
Plus tons of baby clothes and things for Collin.
Kevin and I said we weren't exchanging any gifts but Kevin did get my stuff for Collin which of course I cried. He got him a Dino Blanket and a stuffed Dino for him and in the card he wrote a really sweet message and said he hopes the blanket is his favorite!
We had a great Christmas with everyone and it was nice to see everyone before the baby gets here
I got the hubby an iphone...he got me a wireless headset...I did need one but I got nothing fun from him
It was a pretty boring Christmas...
Isabelle was the winner in our group, she got a ton of new toys! She's been exhausted the past few days from all the travel and excitement!
We were very blessed this year as well. I got DH a Sony Reader and then my parents got me a Kindle! I wasn't expecting that at all but am excited to play with it. We also got a camcorder from my parents for the baby and DH got me a very pretty diamond bracelet.
We got some other sweet odds and ends and I did get 4 outfits for after Baby is born...lots of cotton and elastic!
Dave spoiled me. He really did. I got a antique diamond and sapphire ring, it's from the early 20's. It's so different, and so pretty. He's a good boy. He also got me the Pioneer Woman cookbook and the new Super Mario Bros for Wii. He listened this year.
I got him the 37 in TV for our bedroom and the book of boudoir pictures. He deserved it after the ring haha.
Brando got a ton and has been the hap-hap-happiest lab on the planet.
Our parents spoiled us as well, my parents got us an awesome rug for our living room, and a set of non stick cookware (dave is no longer allowed to use my stainless steel pots due to a rice cooking incident, so this was perfect). Dave got a buffer and polishing set for his car, he totally geeked out over it and me and his mom rolled our eyes at him.
Now for our unexpected gift. A lovely branch, courtesy of a huge storm, that went right through my ceiling and into my living room. It rained in my house for a good hour or so on Christmas Eve while we struggled to patch it. For New Years we get to deal with construction and insurance adjusters. BOOOOO.....
Oh my gosh. That's horrible! Hope you can get things sorted out quickly...
(A+ for Dave on the ring, though!)
margaritas in mexico
My family exchanged gifts back at Thanksgiving since that's when most of us could get together. I never see my family on Christmas, only DH's, because of traveling and all that. But from my mom--I got some money for my stethoscope for school, some sweaters, and slippers.
From DH's family, we got some restaurant giftcards, money, and a whole bunch of useless stuff we'll never use, haha. I hate stuff like that, and they know it, but continue to get it for us anyway. Whatever makes them happy, I guess!
DH and I don't really exchange presents, but he did suprise me with a big chocolate squirrel! I think it's too cute to eat, so I haven't touched it yet. :-)

Wow! That's horrible! At least you got all the other good things to even it out.

Thanks guys, all will be well, I'm looking at it in the most positive way possible. We were home, no one was hurt, and damage was minimized as much as it could've been.
P.S. I totally have to AW my husband some more and my Daddy. First, Dave, because he is usually the worst gift giver. ever. He not only did well this year, but incredibly well. I forgot to add, that he took it upon himself to go to the store and by two more of each piece of my everyday plate pattern. He said he wants extra in case he breaks any and the pattern goes out of stock. Gotta love him. haha.
Now my daddy. How I love him, he surprised each of his "girls" (four daughters" with a real pearl jewelry set. Necklace, bracelet, and stud earrings. They are simple, and beautiful and it was totally unexpected. He said he heard the commerical saying "Pearls for the Girls" so many times, he figured they were talking to him, because really who else would have so many girls. We laughed at him.
That is soooo sweet!!!
