Has anyone been to the new Cowboys stadium?
I would like to get 2 tix to the Dallas vs. Philly game on Jan 3rd. Of course the tickets are outragous, but because I have never been there I don't know if there are "bad" seats. I have heard that because they have the huge screen, there really isn't a bad seat.
Thoughts or suggestions are very much appreciated! THANKS!
Re: Has anyone been to the new Cowboys stadium?
We also went to the Big 12 Championship Game. We had 2 sets of tickets. The club seats were awesome but our upper deck seats were horrible. Not necessarily the view....but it was sooo steep and I had couldn't make it up to them. I had a major panic attack. Thank goodness we had other seats to use!
I did seem to watch the screens just as much as the game on the field.
FI and I went to the Big 12 game and sat in the 3rd level, row 1 at the 40 yard line. The seats were GREAT. We could see the whole field clearly and the jumbo screen was eye level.
My only complaint is the height issue like a PP said. Being on the first row I was a little scared to stand up as much. The barrier was barely knee high on me (I'm only 5'6") and my anxious self was imagining scenarios of people behind us celebrating and jumping, bumping in to me, and me toppling over to my death. Dramatic, yes. Also, going up the escalators was scary because I am super afraid of heights and the free standing escalators with glass walls every where and being able to see how high we were made me panic a bit. However... once we got to the seats, like I said, the view was GREAT.

I was just there for the chargers game last weekend. You are best getting mid-height seats in my opinion. You will watch the jumbotron a lot- you can't help it and if you are super low or super high it could put it at a weird angle for you. However like pp said, there's really not a bad seat in the house. I got down into the miller lite club for the second half and was basically on the field- even then, looking straight up at the jumbotron, it was ridiculously amazing. If you can find miller lite club passes GET THEM!!! I would even get cheaper seats in order to afford the miller light club passes- trust me you will just stay in there the whole time. it is basically like being in a dugout if you can picture that but football. this is also where the players run in/out of. I have no idea if you can buy these though or how much you would have to pay for them. my brother in law has season tickets and the guys in front of him gave us theirs for the second half (SCORE!).
I would avoid seats that are compeltely endzone so that you aren't just looking at the mini-jumbotrons, sit at least on the curve of the endzone so that you can appreciate the madness that is that screen!!!
