It's that time if year again.
What are your resolutions for the new year and new decade?
Re: Resolutions?
I didn't make any last year, with expecting a new baby early in the year, but this year I have a ton!
I'm a Central Pa wanna-be, so I'll contribute
* use my gym membership on a more regular basis so I can lose weight and get more healthy
* save $, declutter my house, and sell things we don't need so that we can get up to Central PA faster
* work on bettering my Pampered Chef business (to save $ to move up north!)
* continue to take the Wilton Cake Decorating classes so that I can, one day, achieve my dream of having a bakery
* keep the house clean and straighten up/clean on a more regular basis instead of just on the weekends
Mostly health and fitness related, and I made them previous to January 1st, but here's what I'm working on right now...
The first resolution is to try and stick to my resolutions...
Beyond that:
* try to hit the gym at least 3x a week (and bad weather is no excuse since I have a treadmill at home).
* try to eat healthier (ie: cut out desserts, including ice cream *gulp*, and fast food)
* get rid of some of the crap i've accumulated in 3 years of living with dh.
* be thankful for my time with dh, since he might be deploying to afghanistan again this year
I'm not much for resolutions as I tend not to stick to them; but my goals for the year are:
- strip/paint the kitchen cabinets and replace the counter tops & blacksplash. We have an old home and well with that comes a lot of unknowns which always creates problems.
- attend the gym 3x week & 1 night at home working out to a dvd.
- finally get to my goal weight.
- save money - my car FINALLY gets paid off in June so I'm really looking forward to putting that money back as a cushion.
- Find a new hobby.
I really like this one!!!! I think I may add it to my (short) list, which includes working out at least 3 times a week.
