yes, it was a consultation for gallbladder surgery.
anyway, the consultation went HORRIBLY. the surgeon had zero bedside manner and basically insinuated that the reason i have gallbladder issues is because of my weight. he asked if i had had any previous surgeries, and when i told him i had lap-band surgery in 2007, he said (and i quote) "well, that must have not worked out too well for you." 
i called the office back and set up another consultation with a different surgeon that the scheduler said would be understanding and compassionate and have a bedside manner i would likely appreciate. they only had an opening on dec. 31, so i took it.
i was floored that this man who knew nothing about me, or lapband or anything was so insensitive and unprofessional. it hurt. hoping the second consultation goes smoothly.
