Finally home!
It took FOREVER to get to Iowa on Thursday, I lost my debit card so we left 2 hours late (debit card found shortly after we left, they held it till tonight), the weather sucked, it took over 12 hours to get there.
I will post more on the hotel later - but the short version is that Ramada corporate will be getting a letter from me.
Christmas with his mom was great, I absolutely love her. The kids had a good time, and it was wonderful.
Saturday we had a good lunch with old friends of Redneck's and his mom. His sisters were supposed to come, and instead decided to keep us waiting around and grace us with their presence at 7 and 8 oclock, respectively.
Both girls got chemical burns from the pool - C over about 70% of her body, and B maybe 40%. We spent last night giving them cool showers and having them lay with wet towels on their faces. This morning B starting puking, which made for a fun trip home.
This morning we had breakfast with his mom and her bf. We didn't leave until after 11, and it took almost 10 hours to get home. I-80 came to a standstill, we ended up bailing off and taking county roads home.

As far as the letter to Ramada, hopefully you get your stay for free!! I sent a complaint in last year to Marriot when the front desk failed to make my wake up call causing me to miss my flight. They replied back and credited my credit card for the entire stay (2 nights).
Ditto! I might take them to the doctor too for documentation. That sounds absolutely miserable.
