Re: Nursery update
It is just precious! The chair is gorgeous, dahling.
I still cannot believe you are waiting until delivery to find out if you're having a boy or girl. Patience is a virtue that skipped me. Any feelings of what Peanut may be?
This is legal advice. Circa 2011
Thank you, dear. I would sleep in that chair if Mr.Shoe would let me.
I have no patience either. If I can wait, anyone can. And no intuition. I am a sucky mother. I find that when I talk about the babe in the present tense, I use male pronouns. But when I talk about it in the future, I use female pronouns. I feel like it's a boy but I see us with a girl.
I love it! You're so much further along than I am, ours came to a screeching halt during the holidays. Now, I can't even get D to finish painting the beadboard, grrr. It will happen though, because I will become the world's biggest nag.
Don't feel bad about not having any intuition about the baby's sex. I have NO idea if mine is a boy or girl, no idea at all. I tend to say he, but I think that is just because that is technically the pronoun you use when you're not sure about something, I don't know.
Anyway, I love the bumblebees. Very very cute!
My secret to getting Mr. Shoe to do stuff in the nursery is probably flameworthy but it works. I blog about it. He reads my blog and despises when I portray him in a negative manner. Last week I blogged about how I needed him to get off his arse and put the bookshelf together before I could take pictures. On Friday he told me he wanted to leave Hometown, LA early on Sat so he could get home to finish the bookshelf so I could take pics for my blog. Insert evil laugh here.
Not flameworthy... excellent
