So tattooed ladies, where are you tattooed at? I have one on my back thats pretty high up (not tramp stamp area but higher than that by an inch or so b/c I got it young and didn't want to be busted by my parents).
I'd like to get some script that says "When I count my blessings, I count you twice..." and then Hunter's initials with it. I loooove foot tattoos but I think that might be too long for a foot. I work in a conservative setting (for nuns, although the nuns would be the ones that are cool with tattoos, actually, those ladies are liberal!) so it has to be easily hidden.
Do you think it could fit on my foot or will it just look scrunched and funky? I don't want it on my arms or legs really, so my other option is on my back somewhere.
Re: Tattoo placement
The smaller you go, the more messed up the script will look. I dont think you would be able to fit all of that on a foot and have it look nice. But that's just my opinion. Plus....a foot tattoo HURTS LIKE A MO FO! Best thing you can do is find the script you want and size you would like....you can print a few out and cut it to see how and if it will fit properly on your foot. (this is all a tattoo artist would do anyway)
I have mine on my wrists, my foot and the center of my back.
I think something like that would look rad going up and down your ribs/side!!! I really want something in script on my ribs just havent figured out what I want to put there yet.
My tattoo's ar on my ankle and then my lower back, though I wouldnt consider it a tramp stamp as it goes side to side and is about a foot and a helf tall up my back.
oh oh!
What if you did it across your shoulders and added angel wings to either side! That would be super rad! Kinda goes with the whole saying and what not

that has some good ideas of scripts and how much space you need for what and how big it can get.....
I agree with Karrey
Agent - I'd love to get it on my ribs/side but all the nasty stretch marks on my belly and hips would probably be a distraction. I like the shoulder blade area though!
Thanks for your help ladies! I think I am just going to go in and talk to the guy who did my last tattoo and see what he thinks about it.
I have a star on my left shoulder blade and the breast cancer ribbon with hearts on my foot (my sis and I got matching tattoos in honor of my mom).
Do you have to have it covered up for work or can all or part of it show? You could do it in the middle of your back between your shoulder blades.
Our dress code permits tattoos to show, but since I am in managment I don't feel like its completely appropriate for anything to show...FWIW I work in a nursing home with dementia residents and I did go to a conference that suggested that tattoos are something that are very confusing/scary to dementia residents; they can't process what it is and their vision is often distorted so them it might look like bugs or spiders crawling on someone's legs or arms!
Anyways, that wasn't the point of your question. I'd prefer it not to show at all. I never wear open toed shoes and wear black pantyhose so it wouldn't show on my foot. My wrist would show, but I love wrist tattoos!
I'd love this, too! I have seen some gorgeous script stuff on the side, but I would have to be super dooper toned to even attempt it!
I like the shoulder idea!!
I have been wanting a tattoo for 2 years now, but can never pick something I definitely want. I have a few ideas and once I finally decide, I'm going to get it on my shoulder.
