My mom just told me she found out what happened to the girl I went to high school's with little boy...
Apparently he wandered outside (in Montana) sometime in the morning hours when everyone was asleep and died from exposure. So awful, I feel so bad for everyone involved. Ah my heart is like broken for her, if you have any t&p keep her and her family in them.

This. I'm sure they both just feel so guilty...I'm sure everyone involved that was there feels the same way though. It makes me a lot glad we have dogs that bark at every. little. noise. And that our ILs and my parents do too. Not that its at all the parents fault...he was just a curious little guy that wandered in the wrong place.
Also makes me happy that we have an alarm system. We hear everytime a door opens and what door it is. Ugh, I can't even imagine, that poor poor family!
That is so awful. I'll keep her family in my thoughts. I can't even imagine the pain they're going through right now.
Yup, This! The alarm doesnt even need to be set and it will still beep when a door or window is open. Its so sad that that happened to them. That same situation happens out in AZ a lot, only they dont freeze to death, they drown in pools out here. So sad
I am crushed and horrified and about to cry at my desk...Quite possibly the saddest thing I've ever heard. My heart totally breaks for them.
When Scarlett cries, sometimes the Final Destination brain kicks in and I think about her crying alone somewhere and whether someone could hear her or would help her. I came home last night to her screaming Bloody Murder while Jason was in the bathroom. I didn't even take my coat off and I rushed into the bedroom. Just pitching a fit in her crib. But she sounded like she was in desperate pain.
I'm going to go home and hold her a little tighter tonight.
