Someone here had Moon Boots. . .

I can not remember who it was, but where did you get them? I am going to ask for a pair for my birthday next month, and was doing a little research on them. Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Someone here had Moon Boots. . .

  • Me! I have them in lime green. But I'm of no help in where to get them, since B bought them while over in Great Britain working. I know you can buy them online tho, and they were offered last year in the Victoria's Secret catalog.
I'm friends with everybody in this office. We're all best friends - I love everybody here. But sometimes your best friends start coming into work late, and start having dentist appointments that aren't dentist appointments. And that's when it is nice to let them know that you can beat them up.
  • I thought it was you, but I wasn't for sure. I found them on Zappos. They have really good reviews on there, but I just wasn't sure if I was ready to commit. Do you just wear them when you run errands or what? Are they hard to walk in? Because I remember another pair of snow boots I had were horrible to walk on non-snowy ground in.

  • I wear them all the time, actually. They're super comfy, and they have a thick lining that keep your feet toasty. They also form to your feet, so no one else can really try to steal them to wear (aka, SILs who like to wear other people's shoes for fun Indifferent) lol

I usually tuck my jeans into them, and they're a hit.  Not many people go the Moon Boot route, and they're kinda huge and make a statement. They were kind of hard to walk in at the beginning of ownership because I wasn't used to them being so wide.  They aren't necessarily heavy, but they're a little on the cumbersome side. They work for me on snowy and non-snowy ground, and they have phenomenal traction. I'd def suggest a purchase :)

  • Sorry to butt in!  Just wanted to say that a friend of mine has a pair from North Face so that is also a company to check out.  She LOOOVES them!  GL!
