Hello!
Although I am pregnant myself at the moment, my sister-in-law (newly preggers) and I have drastically different personalities.
Her birthday is in Feb and I'd like to make her a gift basket of items for the pregnant mother to be (she's due in August).
Any thoughts on something YOU would have liked to receive while you were pregnant?
I have so far:
bella band
belly butter
italian sodas (makes me feel like I'm drinking champagne!)
and the old reliable gift card to a maternity store.
But you all are far more creative than I and would appreciate your imput!
Thanks!!!
Re: Gift Ideas?
It might be too long to wait for a bella band. I started wearing mine at 5 weeks
The bloat just got to be too much for my pants to handle!
Where does she shop regularly for clothes? If she likes ON, I would go with a gift card there. I personally wouldn't want a card to Motherhood because it doesn't go as far there - their stuff is expensive! I'm sure you realize that too haha. Plus she might pick up something for the baby at ON :-)
Also, you could do a gift card to a spa or nail place near you. Nothing better than being pampered, pregnant or not!
Good suggestions!
JCam...not only are you right that motherhood is too expensive, but I also have a real problem with their return policy. SO stingy!
Anyways...she's definitely a creative gal, but she's quite traditional.
Maybe a little gift to pamper her will be right up her alley.
I LOVE buying gifts for other people and appreciate you all helping me craft this one for her
And she DOES love scrapbooking. Would it be presumptive of me to give her the supplies she needs to do a scrap book for the baby? I am SO not talented in that area, but she really is. And I know that stuff can get pricey.
Happy New Year's everyone!
