As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Rant: holidays with the inlaws
anyone else? misery.
Dear MIL,
you have two sons. and i am your only daughter-in-law. we drove 16 hours to spend the holidays with you. it would be nice if you could speak to me or at least acknowledge my presence.
Its so bad even DH said he wishes we had spent the holidays with my family instead. now that's saying a lot.
I confronted her last night about how DH was feeling and my concern and she told me he needs to suck it up. how motherly.

I'm one of the lucky ones where my inlaws are amazing. I had to celebrate christmas eve with m's mom's side as we couldn't drive to my parents due to the snow. They are all really nice but boring. I had to keep from falling asleep talking to some of the adults.
Your MIL sounds lame.
