What's yours??
Normally I don't bother with them but this year I am making a few...
1. To stop and smell the roses more. I realized when I go back to work, my house is never going to be clean, it'll take me weeks to do simple tasks, etc, but I need to concentrate on hanging out with my family and friends more. Esp with Hunter, because he's going to be growing and I won't get as much time with him!
2. To stop snapping at DH all the time. I take a lot of crap out on him and I need to stop!

Re: New Years Resolution
Lets see
1) The same one every year - to at a minimum maintain my weight and preferrably lose 10 pounds.
2) To be more positive. We only have so much time here with the ones we love, so we should enjoy it as much as possible.
3) Stay motivated! It's easy to get into slupms and let the house become a disaster or sit home and do nothing. I want to stay motivated this year so I am active and healthy and take care of our stuff.
Eh... the normal diet, exercise, organize, save $..., but I'm adding:
1. Read the Bible-the whole enchilada. One BIG goal. I have read one chapter, but...
2. Finishing up projects I start.
3. work on my certifications-the ones I presently have and the one I would like to get...
Lose the weight again. I really need to get those stars back from the Wedding Weight Loss board.
Get a house. I think.
Find more time to relax.
Is it sad that now I want an enchilada?
Nope. I also want one. I'm easily influenced when it comes to food.
Get in super good shape. Not because I want to lose weight or anything, I'm just so tired of feeling like crap all the time.
Get ready to apply for grad school. I finally found something that interests me so I need to pursue it more actively.
Be jealous, I just had two! yum!
1- Be somewhat organized about this SAHM thing...
2- Get out of the house more
3- Be more crafty, hopefully crafty enough to sell some stuff online...
4- This is not a goal, but a burning desire - I hope DH gets the job he'll be applying for, it would so sweet to move outta here and to that place!! (this is still a big secret, nobody but you guys know he's applying)
Oi I havent even thought about it yet.
Prob the general.
Lose a few pounds/eat more healthy and excersize more. Walking the dog around the block twice a day doesnt count for excersize
Be more budget contious. I need to be more focused on saving.
Try to cut loose and not be so uptight.
Yep-I think I'm waaayyyy too uptight!
And for walking the dog... it takes over 20 min to go around 1 block w ours, so I'm right there w ya! Doing pilates as I did a craptastic job of twisting my knee....
Oh Oh! I have a hopefully easy NYR!!!
To go SILVER by the end of this week! So does that count?!?!? LOL
ahah Lore is seriously takes 15-20 minutes to go around our block. BUT in my dogs defense he has little legs! lol
That sounds like a great NYR!
Not be a neurotic basketcase all the time.
Enjoy life.
A.K.A. really general things that bug me but I have no idea how to tackle.
I'm so bad about sticking to resolutions.
The general ones - lose weight, exercise, make better food choices
One that I probably will stick to is organizing the upstairs bedrooms in our house. This means getting rid of stuff I/we don't need and shredding old documents. Now I just need to find the shredder...
1 - get my portfolio website up asap and get a job
2 - get a new (well, used) car so i don't get stranded going to said job
3 - lose 20lbs. Seriously, I'm doing it this year. If my 34 yo sister with 3 kids can do it and run marathons, so can i!!!
4 - save more for a house
5 - take more pictures. all our pictures seem to be of the cats, rarely of us!
1 - Pay off our debts
2 - Buy a house
3 - Start our family
4 - Eat healthier and get in shape!
1. Start running again. I use to run all the time and I LOVED it and I was in great shape when I was doing it too.
2. Have a "date night" once a month with DH, I realize that if we are EVER going to get pregnant (damn I hope its soon) then our date nights will be limited so I want to take full advantage now.
3. Become more "green", use more earth-friendly products, use my own bags at the grocery store more often, stuff like that.
1. Stop making excuses and just do it.
2. Enjoy life more. I keep getting wrapped up in the fact that I will be 40 by the time I get my Masters and a real job.
3. Take better care of myself. I've accepted the fact that 110 lbs is not a healthy weight for me regardless of what all the ht/wt charts say. I need to be healthy mentally and physically.
4. To accept and respect the decisions that I have made in my life. I don't have to like them but I need to stop beating myself up over them.
Oi! I have a big year ahead of me.....hahaha!
1. Lose a minimum of 50lbs (I need to lose a lot more than that, but its a good quanitative goal for me).
2. Become better organized (I'm the queen of organized chaos; order is hard for me, but it is desparately needed).
3. Permitting finances, take the GRE for grad school.
4. Take more pictures of us - most are from our wedding, lol.
5. Be kinder to DH and spend more time with family and friends, and enjoy life.
