Poll: Fave Christmas Present
What is your favorite christmas present that you received this year?
Re: Poll: Fave Christmas Present
What was yours Nicole?
Mine was definitely our trip to NYC (parents paid for the plane, work paid for the hotel and everything else was DH and my first Christmas gift to eachother)!
MY BLOG!
That is hard to choose - the gifts I got on Christmas are great, but they aren't my favorite (mostly clothes).
I love the china cabinet my parents bought for us - so beautiful. I love our new den furniture and tv - we bought that with some of the wedding money. And I love our wedding album (well the one I put together).
Ya know, I'm actually more excited about my one gift to DH - my boudoir album and slideshow were HOT! DH loved it sooo sooo much and said he'd actually like me to take some shots of him sometime in much the same classic fashion. Yeah, I know - not the typical gifts that our parents once got.
My Blog!
Sadly, my "favorite" Christmas present was the money we got from my parents, DH's parents, and DH's grandpa. We really needed it.
I got a pair of Uggs from my parents and am in love. I had been wearing my regular winter boots to work every day and they dont' have a lot of "flex" to them so driving was a challenge (I'm one of "those" people who wears boots to work and then changes when I get there. Look like a dork but I'm warm on my walk!). I can totally move in them and my feet are so warm. Downside is that they don't have great traction but I'll keep them!
Favorite gift from my hubby was a dragonfly ornament that he searched high and low for. I fell in love with one from Pottery Barn but it made their catalog but never hit the stores here for some reason. Hubby went to all sorts of artsy fartsy stores looking for a different one and finally found one. He was so proud of himself!
I love all of my gifts! I love my new phone even though I got that a few weeks early and my mom sent me a new cd player for my kitchen (we threw the old one out when we moved). It is so nice and I can hook my ipod up to it. Now that I am cooking every night I am loving having it in my kitchen.
LoL, how domestic am I?
We have a lot of pot lucks at work, and for Christmas I asked for and received "Food Transportation Devices." I have a covered pie carrier and an insulated 9X13 pan carrying case.
This was the year of big presents, I suppose...I am in love with the bed frame and dresser my parents got us, and DH and I bought a new car as our gift to each other...I freaking love our little velocity red Mazda-3!
I also love that DH bought me a North Face Denali jacket as a surprise since I'm always stealing his to take the dog out and complaining that I don't have a "casual" coat to wear in the winter.

My parents got me a Sony Reader. I was in complete shock. I have no idea how they even knew such a thing exhisted!!! They also got us some new kitchen items which was very nice. They gave the Mr. a miracle blender and he's in love. Oh and a super comfy Olympic hoodie. I've worn it pretty much everyday since.
The Mr. spoiled me rotten which was awesome and awful at the same time since I warned him not to. We're saving for our honeymoon but he says he couldn't resist. I really can't pick a favorite thing but the cutest thing was the little tiny stocking he made with lip gloss, a 100 cal chocolate bar and a Chapters GC in it. It was so cute.
