Things you learned this year
As the year draws to an end, is there anything surprising or interesting you've learned this year? (Does NOT have to be wedding related) If so, share!
We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.

Re: Things you learned this year
Just off the top of my head, I've learned
- Don't expect too much of people. It's just a let down.
- A lot of people are incapable of basic manners.
- Marriage is pretty awesome. I wish I would have done it earlier.

I've learned:
~It is all right to say no. This was a hard one for me!
~ Marriage is a great thing. It took us a while to get there ( 6 1/2 years), but I love it and DH does too. He's the one who wonders why it took him so long to propose. That makes me feel great.
~When you say you're going to try for something and see what happens, it might just happen quicker than you thought. Which we are very thankful for! Can't wait for April to get here. : )
I've learned that when you lose all respect for someone, nothing they say or do can hurt you.
And I also learned that severe lower back pain is a potential symptom of a UTI. Yup, maybe TMI, but I learned that this year and am still fascinated by it.

I've learned that if you just do it, everything else will follow. Just do it people! Nike had the right idea
I decided to finally just get married, and it all worked out perfectly. In 3 months. I decided to just start a blog and it's growing and it has made me so happy. I decided to finally write this damn book in my head and I'm doing it--things have a way of working out for you if you just take the first step.?
I've learned...
~What the symtoms and treatment for uterine fibroids are
~That I really don't care for planning weddings and am glad its done with
~That some members of my family can be pretty flakey when it comes to RSVPing and then bothering to show if they said yes.
~That others in the family are incapable of having things not be about them.
~That I don't really care for rolling down a hill in a rubber ball
~What its like to lose someone you love to brain cancer
~That getting a house ready to put on the market is a shitton of work
~That the best part about now being married is just feeling like this is how things are supposed to be. One of those all is right in the world feelings.

~All AL'ers welcome~
I learned what a blue moon is. Thanks, Cnn.com! I assumed it referred to a rarely seen blue tint, but instead it refers to a rarely occuring 2nd full moon in a calendar month (happens 1 time every 2 1/2 years apparently). Tomorrow night will be a blue moon!
