Redshoegirl: I lied.

I'm pretty sure it was you who asked about white furniture & if scratches showed up easily? Up to now, Cassie's furniture hardly had a scratch & everything looked fine. Well just the other night, I noticed that the little beaver I gave birth to has been gnawing on the crib, and the scratches are really noticeable, she's even managed to chip some of the paint off :(

Just thought I'd give you something to think about if you haven't gone out and purchased all white furniture by now.....

Re: Redshoegirl: I lied.

  • That was me! Thanks for the tip...I'm still undecided as to color. I was really heavily leaning toward white, especially since I got a white changing table (although I could probably always spraypaint it black)...hmmmmm........
  • We bought white too and even with DH having to put together the crib so far no dings or scratches.  Our crib did come with clear plastic covers on the two sides for babies who like to chew, so hopefully that'll curb any future beaver behavior!  LOL!
